The World Outside
The World Outside

Once upon a time, there was a transgendered person who lived in the closet. It was rather cramped and dark in there, and she eventually started peeking out of said closet, just to get some air. Then, on a cold January day, came a Great Revelation™. She was Wrong, no matter what she did, no matter how she looked. That being the case, why not be comfortable? It was then that she stepped out of the closet and closed the door behind her.

So, what does this M2F do with her time? Not much that's great and exciting, I assure you. I get out of the house occasionally, albeit not as often as I'd like; it's basically a lack of cash that keeps me grounded. Anyway, I go here, I go there, and occasionally even obtain photographic evidence.

So, away we go...

Phipps Conservatory and Botanical Gardens

One of my most favorite places in all the world is the Phipps Conservatory and Botanical Gardens. Whether it's the pretty plants and flowers or the increased partial pressure of oxygen, I don't know; it's a really nice place to spend several hours, whatever the reason.

Me In the Main Gallery

Heck, just look at this one view of the place; the rest only gets better. I could just about live here, but for the fact that lunch gets a bit expensive. (Please forgive the less-than-stellar photography; it's a combination of my shooting solo and getting used to the camera. I promise improvement over time.)

Dendrobium

While going through an area temporarily given over to production greenhouse space during renovation/addition, I happened upon this orchid of genus Dendrobium, and immediately fell in love. This leaves me wishing for the space and the light for horticulture. Fat chance...

Ah, well... More to come, as soon as I get out of the house again. Until then, Auf Wiedersehen.
